All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

"Just kill her," they said. "We don't want her anymore, we're moving", and, without a backward glance, they walked away from sweet little Coco Puff. Coco, as we affectionately call her, has been loving and a good girl all her life. We couldn't let it all end like that. So, she is now safe with us, looking for a home where she will be loved for the wonderful , happy little dog that she is. Fine with other dogs, but not cats, her biggest joy in life, aside from trotting around the backyard and sniffing all the good scents, is lap sitting. If you sit down, prepare to have Coco begging for a spot on or near you. She will curl up in a ball, or, if she is feeling especially lazy, just stretch out across your lap like a big, warm sock! With winter coming on, you can think of her as a pettable lap/foot warmer! Although she is a senior, about her only complaint are her dry eyes, and that's an easy one. We have eye drops for her that solve that problem simply.  And although she is 8 years old, doxies are one of the longest lived breeds, so it is more than likely that she has many years left in front of her to snuggle with you. A great personality and temperament round out the Coco package. Who can resist this little girl!
