Julio needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you are looking for a great big ole boy whose tail will wag at even the thought of you, check out Julio. His fostere says "Even though he's got some years on him he has so much happy in him too. As soon as he sees me coming he starts the wiggle butt and his little frosty face lights up. I'm sure it has to do with the treats in my hand as he sure likes to fetch them and he will eat them up and quickly return for more. Very sweet boy who will bark to get your attention but then wiggles and wags and smiles once he has it."

"Doesn't bother jumping on couches. Keeps to himself and follows me everywhere. He's been going outside without a leash and coming right back after potty. FYI he doesn't mind cats as long as they don't run from him. He doesn't like the crate. He prefers the house over outside and you don't even know that he is in the house. If I'm in the kitchen he's curled up watching me. If he's sleeping he lays on the couch or the rug. He goes upstairs every now n then to nap on the cowhide rug by the bed. When he's out side he does his business and he will scratch gently on the door one time every few seconds. Such a cool guy. He really loves being a house dog."
