All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to the vicinity for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt.

This happy little guy is hoping for a home where he can be your loyal best friend. A Jack Russell mix, he got the bounce from the JRT side, but is much calmer than a regular JRT, so we are guessing that came from the "mix" side. Still full of life and the joy of living, Bennie is not like some Type A JRTs we have known. He is great! So, you get all the fun from this breed, in a calmer package. How good is that! To top it all off, we have gotten him fully vetted for you... neutered, all his shots brought up to date, health check up, and not one pest in sight! Wow!

FROM HIS FOSTER:
If you want a running partner, look no further.  Bennie loves and needs exercise.  However, he can cuddle up with you on the couch as well and will sleep under your covers at the end of the bed.
He loves kids and other dogs.  He is completely 100% housebroken, very smart, good on the leash, crate trained and would be wonderful at agility training.  He loves being mentally and physically stimulated.
He will need a fence that is at least 5 feet and because of his two breeds, he has a tendency to follow his nose and run.
Bennie is the perfect size and will make a great pet.
