All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Meet Mr. Bojangles. Full of the joy of life and loving finding out about all the new things the world holds.He has plenty of leftover puppy energy. Sweet and friendly, he is already totally house trained, loves to play with toys, and knows the commands for "sit", "down", and "give paw" WHEN you can get his attention. He is still learning to walk nicely on his leash and can get very excited, so those commands he knows are the very best ones for him to have learned. Additional training will help him to grow into a stable adult dog as he leaves his puppyhood behind. If you are an active individual, or family, Bojangles will be a great dog for you. Long walks, jogs, hiking, all will be right up his alley, as will playing hard in your backyard and learning new things every day from you. He really does not like cats, so if you have a cat, not such a good idea. 

He is too active for young children, MUST have a fenced yard and will need continued education. He plays rough with other dogs but does like other dogs. He does need an experienced owner.

Hello My name is BoJangles or as my foster Mommy calls me Bo or Mr Jangles.  I am a happy boy who needs an active life to keep my energy in check. If you want a jogging buddy I am your MAN oops PUP!  I am full of impish behavior according to my foster Mommy.  See, I am supposed to sit for my meals, and yes, I do it- but...... I do it one of two ways: a) the slow M O T I O N sit, b) The I have to watch my butt go down, and when I have touch down I look up and smile an impish grin.  I love to hear laughter, love to fetch, and butt scratches rock! I get all wiggly for them. My favorite thing is to change up commands such as paw- I give both! Beg, sometimes I will lay down and look up with yep, my famous grin! My Foster Mommy said to tell you I need someone with dog experience because I am too smart for my own paw prints. Yep, I try to play people.  (Insert cheesy grin here)  Will you let me come into your life? Wuv and Wiggles Bo
