Young and friendly, Valenti, or Val as we've been calling him, was abandoned on a lonely country road by his owner with his friend and possible littermate Clover also listed on our site. He waited there patiently for a long while, and then with hope fading, he lay down, being the good dog he is, to wait some more. Fortunately, we found him, and have discovered he is a wonderful dog, just right to be your best friend, or to become an outstanding family dog. He has a fantastic temperment...interested, outgoing, sweet and loving. He loves to play, and is good with other dogs, as well. He likes all people, children included. We can see him romping in your backyard, chasing a ball, leaping in the snow, going for happy walks with you.  We hope you are just the person to show him that humans will not always leave him. Your reward? The whole heart of a good dog! From someone who's been in rescue a long time, we have to tell you, they really don't come any better than Valenti. He is the kind of dog you think of when you say to yourself "Let's get a dog". He may just become the best dog you have ever had. It's in there!
We would like Valenti to be adopted with his friend, Clover or have another dog in his new house.
