Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This sweet, sweet young girl was skin and bones when we found her, but good food and care has put some much needed pounds on her and her wonderful temperament is now just shining out! If you are a hound lover, you are going to fall in love with Peanuts. Although not yet a year old, she exhibits a super friendly personality. Good with everyone, she simply loves being with people.  She is going to make someone a great family dog, or best friend for life. She is great with kids of all ages, other dogs, and even cats. She wants very much to be a good girl and will look to you to see what you want her to do. Happy to play in your yard and go for walks, her hound nose will enjoy all the excitement of new things. Things you will get to show her for the very first time! So much fun! Full of life and hope, Peanuts is ready and waiting  for you to come and clip on her leash to start exploring. She will require a fenced yard.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: She is still a puppy I am estimating under a year, so still chewing and digging like the puppy she is.  Very sweet and gets along with our grandchildren and our other dogs. She has been put in a crate at night in our laundry room and has not had any accidents. Loves her crate and is using the doggie door already.  Peanuts has a HUGE zest for life , but is very obedient and willing to learn...she will make someone a wonderful companion!

NEW UPDATE: Peanut has come a long way from when we first got her.  She is now housetrained and loves to be in the house....she had never been in the house  before.  She is crate trained. She is turning into a very happy fun loving pup .  She would make an excellent jogging or hiking partner..she has alot of energy and needs someone to share her zest for life with!
