All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Good Boy! that's what you will say when you take Bret home to be yours. A nice, balanced dog, friendly with other dogs, friendly with people, happy to go for walks, play in the yard, and be your very best friend. And he's just a perfect size, actually on the small size of medium, so he will fit into nearly any home easily. His foster says he is super sweet and docile. He loves to follow family members around, especially male family members...he loves the guys! To help this wonderful dog along, we have gotten him completely vetted for you, including his neuter, all his shots, and vet checked, so we can tell you he is a fine guy. He should have many years to walk next to your side and to love you with every beat of his heart. Looks like a family dog to us!  A GREAT family dog.
Note: Bret likes to dig, so any fencing for him should be stabilized along the bottom.
This little boy is darling, quiet, unassuming and just a dear little guy!

UPDATE from his foster:
Bret is always reaching out for love and attention with his human! In that, I mean he literally reaches out for you then grasps your arm to him as if to say "I need to know that you love me!" There is no ignoring him and the love that he craves. He will lay there beside of you and look at you with those big eyes as if to say "please I need your touch!" He is such a laid back tender guy! He gets along with any dog he comes in contact with with even winning over my picky grand-dog daughter. I have 5 cats in my house and basically he could care less about them. Just give him a couch and or a warm body to lay beside of with a hand to give him loving strokes and he is one happy boy!  He is crate trained too but I prefer to let him wander freely through the house.

BRET would need a fenced in yard because he wanders in curiosity and a high fence!
