All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

My name is Snickers and I am about 14 and still very active! I am a , Neutered Male Shih tzu. I do have some clouding on my eyes but I get along just fine! I need to go to a quiet home. Remember, older dogs make wonderful friends!! I would love to cuddle up with you on the couch and watch movies with you on a cold winter night!
A note from Sweet Snickers Foster - Snickers is full of love. A great lap dog and cuddler. He gets along well with my 2 younger dogs. Snickers does well with dogs his about his size however is fearful of large dogs. Snickers would be good as part of a pack or as an only dog. He follows my pack around however is more interested in the attention of his person. He loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed and relax. He should be adopted to a home with no children, as they make him nervous. He has an allergy to chicken proteins and is on a fish and vegetable diet. Snickers also loves treats and going out to hang out in the yard. You'll never be lonely with Snickers around. He will follow you everywhere you go!
