All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

They call me Berkeley Beauty because of my long, Miss America legs and my elegant, tapered nose. Then there is the fact that I can move like a gazelle. But all of that is really just window dressing. What am I really like inside? I LOVE TO PLAY! I'm not picky...anything that looks like a toy is MINE! Oh, and if you would throw something for me...a ball, a stick, a plastic zebra...you will see how well I can fetch. I have lots of energy, so I hope if you are to be my person or family you, too, will like to play. Heaven for me is to be playing outside in the backyard with you. I am happy, friendly and lots of fun. I am also very young, at only 8 months old, and look forward to my first birthday at your house. I have my whole life ahead of me to give to you and I will do it with joy. I totally understand how to love, because I have been loved all my short life. And I have all sorts of other nice things, too, if you can get past my outright beauty. I am already well house trained and have good house manners. I have been trained to do obedience...not a lot of fun, always, for me, but humans seem to really like that part. I'm told I'm a "good girl!" a lot. So, here I am, young, gorgeous and trained. Doesn't get any better!
