All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bax is a friendly, happy dog. He is on the smaller size of medium at only 40 lbs.  Here is what his foster has to say about him: Bax loves to play outside. He takes his job of protecting the yard seriously. No squirrel is allowed in and heaven protect any opossum slinking along the fence. He comes when he is called and is such a sweet and loving dog. He loves to be near me when I'm relaxing inside, but is not a pushy dog. He will sleep on the bed with me if he can find room, but is also happy with a dogbed on the floor. He eats well with other dogs present and won't go after their food bowls if he finishes first. He is working with me on leash training. Bax has a lot of personality and is so much fun to have around.
