Here we have a surprise puppy! Rescue took in a tubby little Carolina/rat terrier mix dog named Gertie and to our great amazement, she wasn't plump at all. There were two wonderful puppies hiding in there. Chai and her brother Mocha are very affectionate and sweet puppies who have been carefully raised and socialized by one of our wonderful volunteers. They were born safely and are happy, healthy pups. We have mama's picture on our site listed as Gertie, so you can go see her, but the puppies are larger and have a boxer look to their body and faces. We are guessing maybe dad was a boxer, but given their current size, they will not be boxer size when they grow up. They got a lot of mama's genes, so we are guessing  these two cute packages are going to look like very small boxers when they are all grown up. In the meantime, we can tell you that they have all that puppy charm, right down to puppy breath and playtime to naps. Looking for an adorable addition to your family? Do you love surprises?
