Sweet Tiffany is only a little more than a year old, but she has already known such sadness in her life. We found her on death row in an old shelter. She literally had only a few hours to live. We brought her to safety, but little did we know her trials would continue. She came to us pregnant at such an early age, but gave birth in our care to 8 fat and beautiful puppies. The severe stress she was in during her time in the shelter and the poor conditions she endured caused her babies to begin to die from fading puppy syndrome. First one, then another, as we stood by, unable to save them. Even with her babies dying, she rose to hero status in our books as she took on nursing another very sick mama's puppies to keep them alive for that dog. We cheered for her kindness, her gentleness, her selflessness, even as we mourned with her. Eventually, her last puppy died. Tiffany was desolate. We think it's high time she got a break and found the very best home, where she will be loved and cared for all of her life. Her foster says she is a real cuddlebug and that she loves snuggling with her people pressing up against them, putting her head on their laps, and sighing with the pleasure of it all. She is so grateful for everything, from the food in her bowl, to a warm bed, and even a simple pat on the head. She has had so little in her short life that any kindness is a wonder to her. Perhaps you are the one who is destined to be her angel and give her all the love she truly deseres. So young, she should have many, many years to love you back with all her heart.
