All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A special note from one of Kae's caretakers:

"Kae is a complete love bug, house-trained, smart, well-behaved, and eager to please. It’s so easy to love this pup! She‘s a great walking and hiking companion, but she is just as happy to snuggle on the couch — or on the dog bed by herself. Sweet Kae loves car rides, too.  She knows some basic commands. She’ll sit for treats and before feeding; and she will wait patiently when told to stay.

Kae has spent time with me both in a rural place and in the heart of the city. She’s done well in both, even with all of the distractions and sounds of city life. I’ve never observed aggression but she’s a bit too interested in the squirrels she’s seen on her walks. I think Kae will do well in a home without cats and probably where she is the only dog. She adores people but is likely best suited to a home without small children because of her size and enthusiasm.

Kae is the foster who has made me think hard about whether I could “fail” and offer her a forever home. If it were in the cards, honestly, she would be the one!"

Kae would prefer a forever home with a private back yard so she can run and play to her heart's content and rest with limited distractions. Kae can be environmentally sensitive to some loud sounds. If you are interested in learning more details about Kae, please contact:
