Camo needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Poor Camo was thrown out by his people like a piece of trash. They never looked back. And he is such a good boy! Given any chance at all, he will roll right over and beg for a belly rub. He will stretch his whole body out in ecstacy showing you in every way he can how good it feels. He loves to play with other dogs and even cats and is always friendly to them. He does not want to dominate others, just be friends. He will not jockey for top dog position. We are hoping for a home where he will never again be thought of as disposable and where his sweet nature will be appreciated. He is so grateful for everything you do for him, no matter how small. Just putting food in his dish is an occassion for him to lick your hands in gratitude. Taking him for a walk is a major treat and giving him attention is so wonderful it's almost beyond his comprehension. He is such a beautiful dog, too. That brindle pattern shimmers in the sun, making him shift colors all the time you look at him. He is still quite young, at barely a year old, and on the smaller side of medium at only 40 lbs. Perhaps you are the person who he was meant to have and who will love him back as much as he will love you.

Camo has a history of doing well with other dogs and also with cats.
