Pickles is a smaller dog with a huge heart. His overwhelming desire in life is to be loved. He wants more than anything to have his own person and family. He was born to be a family dog and when his family abandoned him it nearly broke his heart. He is such a good boy! He likes to play with other dogs, will enjoy romping in your backyard and going for walks. He is interested in everything along the way on your walks and it makes us happy just to see how joyful he is. Here is what his foster had to say about him..." Pickles is a love-a-muffin dog that misses the family that dumped him to the pound. Poor fella cries to get out of the kennel to come spend time sitting at my feet and laying in the pet bed in my office. He is wonderful and small.  "He is a laid back, gentle and a sweet dog and I loooove him.  I think he is a perfect dog for a retired couple who can spend their time with him all day.  He loves everyone including 4 legged temp family. Yes he is perfectly fine with them so far!" (meaning cats) He doesn’t not like to be left alone so more ideal to be adopted by older couples who stays home with him or someone with a stay at home family member. But he seems to be ok with all ages of human and animals"
