Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Looking for a sweet little dog to go on walks then cuddle on the couch with? Meet Jelly! She is approximately 4 years old, 14 pounds, spayed, microchiped and up to date on vaccinations. Jelly is a special needs pup but don't tell her that because she won't believe you! Prior to being found by a good samaritan, Jelly was apparently hit by cars on more than one occasion leaving her with a badly fractured pelvis. Specialists repaired the pelvis as best they could but because of the remodeling that had occurred it is far from perfect, leaving her with a permanent limp and a tail that doesn't work quite right. This does not slow her down! She loves to go for walks and play with her little ball. Jelly LOVES kids but due to some permanent sensitivity in her rear she would do best in a home without very small children and whose older children understand her sensitivity and physical limitations. Jelly does occasional have accidents in the house but 2 of the humans often don't notice when she is saying she needs to go! She does not have accidents when foster mom is home. Jelly is good with cats and most other dogs. She will sometimes mouth off to other dogs who get to close to her when she has something she doesn't want to share. She currently lives with 3 dogs in her foster home who simply walk away when she gets snarky. She has never done this with people.

If you have room in your heart and home for Jelly contact Heather to set up a meet and greet!
