All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Muggle has that typical happy-go-lucky outlook on life, so definitive of a good beagle. And this, in spite of the fact that he was seized by animal control for neglect! Nothing is going to break his amazing natural temperament. His foster says "He is a very happy dog with a great temperament who has gotten along great with other dogs." He will wag his tail all day long and is thrilled to have grass and trees and bushes and...you name it, to sniff and sniff. His beagle nose goes a mile a minute. He can't wait to play outside in your backyard, go for walks with more new smells, and to curl up in a beagle ball each night, right near you. He's a young dog, too, so he should have many years to enjoy life at your side. If you love beagles, Muggle is ready to love you right back. He's ALL BEAGLE!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER : Muggle has such a sweet & happy temperament! His tails starts to thump when he wakes up in the morning and sees you; he’s happy when it’s time for a walk. And when it’s time to eat, of course! He amuses himself by tossing his toys into the air. And he loves to snuggle. He’s moderately active and has bouts of playfulness but also likes to chill. Winter evenings don’t get much cozier than having him curled up into a content little Muggle donut next to you on the sofa! He’s been an all-around great companion. No housetraining accidents! And I’ve yet to hear him bark. He’s been friendly and submissive with my dogs. And he wants to greet every person we meet on walks. He’s a very social dog and would probably like to have a dog buddy in his forever home. He’s a dog that is happy to come back in right after he’s done his business and hang out with his human.
