All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Cai is a very handsome fellow, but he doesn't know it. His foster says he is on the more laidback side, but loves trotting around with his nose to the ground, smelling the great outdoor scents. He would be an ideal hiking buddy. Do YOU like the outdoors? Cai LOVES the outdoors. Camping, jogging, just long walks in the woods would make his day. Both of you could  get fresh air and exercise together. His foster also says he has an amazingly soft fur coat. All the better to pet him! We have helped him in his quest to find an individual or family who will love him as much as he will love them back by getting him a thorough vetting, with all his shots, too. If you are ready for a new best friend, think Cai!

Cai is currently going through heartworm treatment until early June and would need a very quiet home until he has completed the quiet time.

Cai is nervous around quick activity so we are requiring a home with children 12 and over.
