Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

NOTE- BANJO IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.

From his current caretaker: Banjo is a high energy, active dog. He is extremely sweet-tempered but needs more exercise and training than we can currently give him. He has a lot of hound in him and seems like he wants to work and run. Banjo is super friendly with other dogs and loves to play. He would love another dog sibling and a we believe he would do best with a big fenced yard or large outdoor securely enclosed property. He is known to be somewhat of an escape artist, a true hound. When he isn’t running around outside he does like to chill and lay around. Not sure how he would do with cats or livestock.
