Little Max needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Look into Max's friendly face. Oh what he wouldn't give for a real home and people of his own to love. Just entering the prime of his life, Max is 25 lbs of personality and a super happy  little guy.  His best "selling point" is that he is an outgoing, happy dog. You can see it in his picture. He seems to be saying "Hi there, are you going to be my friend?' He wouldn't like to say it, because he is modest, but have you ever seen such a handsome guy? His markings are spectacular. Trotting at the end of your leash, he is sure to be the center of all attention. Right about now, he is hoping he has caught your eye and that he has found his true love. He is ready and waiting to give his little heart away.

This little boy is so friendly.. his little body doens't stop wagging when he sees someone!!! No one is a stranger to him!  But he has been beat up so many times by other dogs that he will do best as the only dog...  when he gets excited, he will run as fast as he can in big circles and just makes you laugh!!!
