All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Tiny and in need of love, Mimi has just made a miraculous escape from a horrible puppy mill, where the plan was to confine her to a cage in order to produce as many expensive puppies as possible. No possibility of vet care. When little Mimi, bred too young, cold and alone in her cage, lost her single little puppy, her "owners" decided she was useless. She was discarded like yesterday's newspaper. A real angel has taken her in to help her find her place in the world and now she is ready for you, and a real life filled with walks, soft beds, and most of all, love. This will be a first for Mimi! So far, she is loving every new day free from her prison, getting good care and vet visits. Hiding inside that abused puppy was an outgoing real yorkie! Her foster says she is bursting with life and happiness to discover there are things in the world she was never even able to dream about. The best thing she has found is that a human is not going to hurt her, but instead will stroke her small head gently, give her a warm place to snuggle, and feed her delicious food. She loves this all so much that she doesn't want to let it all get out of her sight. Her foster is calling her the "velcro dog" because Mimi follows her everywherre, afraid that if she takes her eyes off her savior it will all go away. Sweet Mimi is ready to find her forever home now. Such a young dog, she is sure to find in you her true love, looking up into your eyes every day, telling you in every way she knows how wonderful it is to be there with you.

PLEASE NOTE;Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four hour stretch.
