Learn more about the Pomeranian.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

About Bandit the Pom

  • Housetrained: Yes

One little guy,  fluffy and learning the ways of the world in the famous cell dog program, where dogs are socialized, house trained, and taught basic commands. He really needed to go to a place where humans were kind to him, as he has never known that people could actually love and pet him. Born into the horrible puppy mill system, he has spent his few years on earth locked in cages, never knowing what it is like to live in a home and have someone care about him. With his heritage, he should have been destined for laps and petting, walks with his special person, play in the yard, toys...all these things, though, are new to Bandit . He is learning, and it must feel so good to know that there is gentleness in the world. Just in the prime of his life and healthy, he would love to have a home with you. You will have to go slowly and let him learn about house life at his own pace, but the tiny heart that beats in his small chest will open to the love you give him and it will be a beautiful thing to watch happen.

If you are interested in  Bandit , please read the following about puppy mills and what to expect from a puppy mill dog coming into your home. They are special dogs and need extra time and love to learn.

If you are interested in a puppy mill rescue, please take a look at the following on puppy mills.  http://www.puppymillrescue.com/

Also go to this link to see how to help your new puppy mill dog learn to trust and love for the first time:

PLEASE NOTE: Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four hour stretch.
