All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This sweet little charmer (and we mean LITTLE), is a tiny lapful of a dog. Weighing in under 8 lbs., she would love to be someone's special girl. With her easy care coat, and her prancing legs, she would be so much fun to take for walks and to watch play with her toys. Her heart might be very small, but she would give it all to you! If only you would love her back, ... In return, she would like to lay her head on your knee and snuggle her warm body next to you whenever she could, just to be near you. Full of life and happiness, she would make you smile every day of her life. Look at her picture again. She is looking right out at you and hoping you are the "ONE".

Chai needs to learn to trust both humans and other animals.. we would prefer she go to a dog savvy home without children.

UPDATE FROM CHAI'S FOSTER MOM: 

Chai likes all people that come over, males, females, and kids...she loves to snuggle and follow your every move. She goes outside and comes running in when time. if she wants in sooner she jumps at the door.
