Sara needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sara is a lovely purebred German shepherd dog and has all those qualities that make people want and love them. The loyalty, the complete devotion, the high intelligence. Sadly, these traits were not appreciated by her former owners and they had no interest in this wonderful dog. Sara is aching to give her heart away to her very own family. She is a very, very people oriented dog. She is outgoing, friendly, is easy to take places because you know she is going to get along with everyone. Other dogs? She likes them a lot. You will not have any trouble with sweet Sara if you visit places with other dogs, or live in a neighborhood with many canines. She even goes that great shep temperament one better...she is fine with cats, too! Not always the case with many shepherds. We have had all her vettiing done already for you. She has been spayed, has had her shots, we even got her microchipped. She is currently being kept in a kennel, and her heart is breaking not being with the human race that she loves so much. She is ready and willing to give you her love and loyalty for the simple return of a pat on the head. Such a gift, for so little! Take her for walks, let her play in your yard, whisper to her that she has finally found her place in the world. She wants to be yours. Look into her eyes and tell her you will come for her.
