All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Spazalicious is a fun-loving pup that needed to learn what it was all about to be in a home. She accomplished that is short order by having other animals around and people that understood that she needed some time to adjust. She does know her commands and will do them if you let her know you are in charge by simply telling her what you want and expecting it of her. She doesn't need a treat every time she responds but would love to be petted and told good girl. She has now learned how to play with other dogs and for the most part has learned cats can hurt so don't chase. She would not be good in a home with an elderly cat or young kitten. She will test all animals in any home she is in and will need guidance from both her people and the other animal. She can be pushy but listens when told no or the animal shows the signs in dog language that makes her aware she is over-stepping her bounds. She is house trained and very clean almost cat like in the home. She is not food aggressive nor a resource guarder of toys and treats. She has learned how to play with others and with a ball and loves to go outside for walks and meet and greet people. She has met babies in strollers as well as people with walkers and everyone in between and loves them all. She would make a good addition to any home looking for a smart, energetic pet that is ready to roll any time of the day or night.
