All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Picture a sweet and loving golden retriever mama. Add a traveling basset hound. Now you have Missy...a one of a kind! And she got all the good stuff from mom and dad. She is a happy, loving, young girl. Very friendly, liking other dogs, especially male dogs (sometimes she is not happy to share the limelight with other resident girl dogs), loves kids, even likes cats. She has fantastic house manners and is well house trained. She surely has the "golden" personality, but we know for sure those great ears came from dear old dad. Missy is easy to love and all ready to love you back. We have gotten her all ready for you...getting her all the shots she needs to be up to date, having her spayed already, and making sure she is ready to move right in and be the happy house dog she was meant to be. No question about it, she will make you smile every day. When you stroke those ears you simply can't help it!
