All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet and loving, this golden mix is oh so anxious to please. If you can tell him what you want, he will do it! Very young, he has not even had his first birthday. The best present for him in the world would be to blow out his single candle in a real home with his forever family all around him. His is a big boned guy, quite tall, and he simply lovesw being around people. He is fine with other dogs, even cats. Zeke is a treasure. But wait, listen to what his foster mom, who knows him so well, has to say about him:

He's awesome. Great with the other dogs, the kids. Housetrained. He's eating 3 times a day now. (He was SO thin when we got him...good food has made a big differrence.) We got him groomed last week and he looks soooo much better. He does not like to be crated at all but he's a bit too young/undisciplined to be left unattended alone in the house. He used a Girl Scout art bin as his personal toy bin. Goofball!  He digs cats! Does have a strong prey drive when it comes to squirrels, chipmunks, etc. His desire to please will help him learn anything quickly. Zeke is a total delight and sweet gentle dog. 

foster notes --- Zeke is a very big boy so will require space to run, preferably a fenced yard. And would do best with another doggy friend to play with -- he loves to play with foster's dogs
