All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Joanie is full of enthusiasm for life and is ready to share that with you every day.She is independent, but does like to be near you. She LOVES to play with toys, and will entertain herself, but welcomes people joining in! It's the perfect mix!  She is housebroken, is very smart and sits for her food. She is very excited to meet new people, but she does jump up on them. We are working on that, but it is truly a reflection of her outgoing personality.  She does seem very interested in squirrels, so not sure about cats. If you have a cat, we will be sure to gethre cat tested. She very much likes men, but she is also good with women. We are guessing the deeper voice is appealing to her. The neighbor had a 5 year old girl stop by in their driveway, and Joanie really seemed to want to say "hi", so I think she would do well with children.We are hoping to place this happy dog in an active home where she will get lots of exercise. She will like long walks, runs, camping, new sights and smells...really anything to engage her super intelligence. Joanie has great possibilities for being the best dog you have ever had!
