Learn more about the Saint Bernard.
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

I met this boy for the first time yesterday and to say he is wonderful is a large understatement.. you cannot meet him and not smile.. he's just that kind of dog!
You say you are looking for a quiet, calm companion? And you like sturdy guys? Well, you've just found Freddie! Low exercise needs coupled with his friendly temperament, make him a wonderful choice. A snug place to lie near your feet is Freddie's idea of paradise. Peaceful walks, food in his bowl, plenty of pats on his head, and Freddie will know he is in heaven. This great senior likes other dogs, so he will be an easy guy to take visiting, and as far as we know, he has NEVER met a person he doesn't like. They just don't get more easy going than Freddie. House trained and crate trained, Freddie will lumber into your life bringing smiles with him, wherever he goes.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Freddie is such a sweet boy. He is incredibly easy going. He is very content laying on a soft bed all day and following you up and down the stairs so he can be near you. He can go for short walks, but doesn't require them. He gets along very well with our two dogs, nothing seems to bother him in the slightest. He is great with kids, doesn't need any training, is perfect when left home alone uncrated, and I am sure he would be fine with cats. You will not find a more laid back pooch than Saint Freddie!
