Hope needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This glorious pure bred German shepherd has had the terrible luck to find herself locked in a concrete, windowless cage, away from humans, who she absolutely loves. You can see the anguish in her eyes. A dog like this lives for her human family. The workers here say when they approach her, she gently licks their hands and when allowed, she will place her head against them. They can see her saying to them in every way she can, "please, what did I do to come to this place?" She is a good dog, and it is heartbreaking to see her try to rest her head on one of the workers laps when she gets her few minutes of attention each day. We here at Reach Out Rescue & Resources are bringing her out into the light and trying to find her a foster home, where she will be able to run and stretch her legs and, most of all, have those humans who she loves so much. The loyalty of a shepherd is legendary, and what Belinda will give you in devotion is priceless. She knows what it is to be without, and it will make you all the more precious to her.
A SPECIAL NOTE FROM HER CAREGIVER: She will need to be an only dog. She does not do well with other dogs. She is very good with people and loves to be petted and walked..... just not with another dog.
