Coal needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
About Coal | |
|
Coal is one of those sweet, friendly, easy to love dogs. He was born to be a family dog. We can see him at the kid's soccer games (he LOVES kids), playing happily in the backyard, snuggling next to you on the couch, or at your feet. He is happy and outgoing, ready to meet and greet anyone with a wagging tail and a smile on his face. He will like all your friends and neighbors, their dogs, even their cats. He is a playful boy and really rather young, at only 3, in spite of the gray decorating his face. He likes to think of himself as prematurely gray and quite dashing, too! He wants very much to be a good boy, all of the time and is ready to listen and try his best to do what you want him to do. He is a really settled, compliant dog, so no drama here, just a best friend. It will feel like he has always been there when you take him home. Yes, he's that kind of dog. Go for a walk? Sure, he's up for it. Settle down for a quiet evening, that's fine, too. On the small side of medium, at just 30 lbs. he is not too big, not too small...just right!
