Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about her.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

About Pearl

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Adoption Fee: 250.00
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn with Black
  • Current Size: 12 Pounds
  • Current Age: 14 Years (best estimate)

Abandoned and alone in the woods, sweet little Pearl narrowly escaped being eaten by coyotes. So young, so innocent, barely one year old, she must have been terrified. At only 12 lbs., she tried hard just to stay alive. And when we found her? She sighed with relief and snuggled against her rescuer. And that is how it is with Peal. She will find heaven on earth on your lap, her very favorite place to be. Not yappy, just snuggly, very friendly, extremely people oriented. Somewhere along the way she damaged one of her eyes, but our vet says that while she can't see out of it anymore, it is not going to cause her any problems. She likes other dogs, and wants to play with cats. We decided to give her the very best chance at adoption, so, in addition to her wonderful personality, we have iced the Pearl cake with all her shots, a health check, spay, and even had her microchipped for you. If you are looking for a loving lapdog, they don't get any better than Pearl.
