All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

You say you want to watch the sunsets with your best friend? You like walks, but slower ones? You like the extra sweet, friendly type of dog? We have Logan! Still with plenty of life and love to give, he is a dog that loves, loves people. Maybe we should say he just plain adores people. They are his sun, moon, and all the stars. Sadly, "his" people, who had had him all his life, did not live up to their end of the bargain and they turned him in on a newer model, just when he was ready to sit by their feet and enjoy the quieter times. This wonderful dog is good with other dogs, likes children, and is a big, sturdy boy. He will never, ever give you a moments worth of trouble. If you have ever loved an older dog, you know the gentle wisdom so deep in their eyes and the rewards of seeing life with them, enjoying the small things that make it all worthwhile. The love of an older dog is so special, for both of you. Are you ready to enjoy those beautiful evenings with Logan?

You absolutely cannot meet this boy and not immediately fall in love with him.. he's so incredibly dear... he doesn't care if his vision is limited and can barely hear you.. touch him and he smiles and wags his tail... sweet and happy.. he doesn't deserve to be abandoned in his senior years after living all his life with one family.. don't let him finish out his time in a kennel and alone!!!
