All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

So young, so sweet,Shadow became a mama while she was still a puppy herself. But she cared for those babies as best she could and raised them to go off to real homes. Now she has been left behind and hopes that she, herself, can find a place where she will be loved and cared for, and no longer discarded. A quieter dog, and calm, especially for one barely a year old, she is an easy dog to love and to keep. She will be a fantastic family dog, or best friend for an individual, asking little but some food in her bowl and a gentle hand. One funny thing we can tell you about her...she has only a tiny stub for a tail, but oh my it wags furiously when she is happy, which is nearly all the time. We felt sorry for her, thinking someone had cruely cut it off at some point in her puppyhood. But then we saw her puppies, and several of them had, you guessed it, only a stub for a tail. So, as genetics will out, Shadow came by this tiny tail naturally! This very good girl is hoping she can give her heart to you soon, so she can show you how much love she has been saving up all this time.
