All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

The words scamp, sprite, twinkle toes and, of course, butterfly would have been great names for Paige.  They showcase a part of her sparkling personality that is almost puppy-like.  The name Paige, however, reflects her maturity and sweet demeanor as well.

Paige is friendly, loving, inquisitive and gentle.  It is pure joy to watch her play, discover and explore.  She is a good eater, doesn’t jump on the furniture or chew on a thing.  She doesn’t choose to go upstairs (although she can) and just wants to be around her family of people and dogs.

Her fur is as soft as a rabbit and she loves a good scratch.  A former cell dog, Paige has most basic obedience skills and is not afraid of men, loud noises, or new creatures she meets.  Paige does not have a sense of territory, so would need a secure yard in which to run or a good daily walk.

At about 8 pounds and standing 15 inches high at her ears, she is all warm sable and white Papillion fluff. She is estimated to be about 5 years old.  Her feet are scarred from her life in a puppy mill wire bottomed cage, but her disposition wasn’t damaged!  She would be a delightful dog by herself or with others.
