All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sarah Lea is sweet as can be.. she is one of many that came to us from a hoarder of dogs. She seems happy and excited being in a clean environment with food and fresh water.. something she didn't have before. Sarah Lea is about 6-8 yr old.. we do not know exactly...

 A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER; Sarah Lea - special notes......... No crate needed. besides I feel it would freak her out!  No issues with destruction unless it is clothing- and that may be the result of tug of war games with my girl Belle! She has NO potty issues! And she only sleeps in my bed when I take a nap.  Next..........  She has EXCELLENT recall!  I do free style walks with her and she stays close- if she can't find me she goes 'home'. lol  Her leash work is bordering on perfection!  Her only 'issue' is if some one tries to walk with her collar. She cringes and flattens to the floor.  She is hesitant about getting into cars/suv's but once inside enjoys the ride, easy to get out even. She loves to race the tractor. I know strange happy thing. She starts the morning play and then sits back and laughs at the others. ;)  Ok, these are just some FYI's.  

Sarah is a very happy girl, acts like a goofy preteen pup! She dances, she runs like a goof barking like said preteen pup!  She is a great house dog. The cats are "hey, how are ya!" She loves the cats! Next, when I took a nap  she jumped up on the bed, and curled into a ball and went to sleep. Great Nap Buddy this one! When I was outside , I came in - no Sarah Lea in sight.. so, thinking she may be napping on my bed... NOPE, she was standing on it watching for me through the window.  Sarah Lea loved helping with night feedings, saying hello to everyone around. Oh, on a fun side note she LOVES Yogurt cups to clean out. Heard that scraping sound of the spoon, came up to me and waited for the cup. Loves car rides too!

Our beautiful sweet girl... LOVES children! She got to see a toddler yesterday and she was all attentive and oh so gentle. Her face was glowing with joy! So, I believe a family with children a MUST for her. Today she went for her first wade in the pond I was shocked... she hadn't shown any interest at all in water before. She also fetches stuffed toys.  On a funny side note she helped my helper paint today she is sporting one green foot, and a green eyebrow. lol   I am so proud at her progress.  

NOTE: Sarah lea will do best with a fenced yard
