All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweetie Pup was born and bred to be a hunter and she did just what was asked of her, but now she's a senior and would like to spend some quality time just being a good dog for a family. She is healthy and still full of life, but has a natural calm, quiet temperament, making her so easy to love and live with. She loves children, other dogs, even cats, just adding to that "easy keeper" status. A happy girl, she is hoping for nice walks, a yard to romp in, and people to tell her what a good girl she is. In the evenings, she would like nothing more than to curl up near you. If you already have a current canine and are looking for a friend for that dog, Sweetie will be a wonderful choice, as she is used to living with other dogs and has that easy going spirit. Pure hound, she would like to be YOUR hound!
