All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This lovely boy is just as sweet as he looks. He's young, happy and playful and he just needs a forever home to give him the training and love he deserves. He doesn't understand he's a big dog as he will play with dogs of any size and people of any size. He is currently very thin for his breed and is hoping for some good groceries to put on those gorgeous shoulders and well muscled legs so distinctive to his breed. You can count on him being one of the most loyal of all dogs. His temperament is stable, affectionate, and gentle. He has a long lifetime of love to give to you . Consider this gentle giant to be part of your family!

NOTE: Fozzie will require a home with a fenced yard and will not be adopted to children under the age of 8 due to his size.

NOTE FROM FOSTER:  What can I say?  Kong aka Fozzie (Kong just didn't fit this sweetheart) is the most wonderful, lovable big boy!  He is so gentle and calm and looks at you with those big brown eyes just wanting attention.  He loves to be stroked under his neck and behind his ears.  He would sit for hours just to be petted.  He is completely housebroken, never has had an accident in the house.  He takes treats from your hand with the gentlest touch.   Fozzie is getting weight on slowly and his coat is also growing in nicely.    He is good with female dogs and will not be placed with any male dogs, he is learning to play with them and toys. He also would not work well at dog parks.   He also likes cats which is unusual for this breed.  He loves going for walks and walks so nicely on a leash, never pulling.  He also loves to go for rides in the car now that it is getting cold out!    All in all Fozzie will make someone very happy when they adopt him-he is just such a love bug!!
