Marco needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Intelligent and alert, you can see it in Marco's face. You can just tell he is trying to see what you want so he can do it for you. Marco really wants to please and is going to make a fabulous best friend and family dog. Still quite young, at only 2 years old, he is a happy, good dog. No drama with Marco, he likes everyone. People, kids, other dogs, even cats. He hopes you will take him on nice walks and will want to play with him in the backyard. Hiking? Wonderful! He wants more than anything to be your family member. He will be an excellent choice for a companion for your current dog, if you already have one, or two, or...he will also be perfectly happy to just be yours. He's an easy boy that way. His short coat is a snap to keep glossy and with his brain power and desire, in no time at all he will have a whole range of commands and tricks ready to go. If you are looking for a simply great, all around dog to add to your family, you will choose well with Marco.
This is a great dog and would do best in a home with older children or no children and patient owners who will allow him time to adjust to a new environment. He walks nicely on lead and is anxious for a chance to be part of a family.
