Learn more about the Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sarah Sue is a playful, happy puppy. Full of energy and fun, she is ready to bring all the joy you can hold into your life. Her goal: To celebrate her very first birthday in your house! A house she will make into a home, with her adorable, loving personality. Smart and hoping to learn just what you want, she will play in your backyard, bounding around after her ball or sticks. She will be excited to go on walks with you and, after a great day, will curl up, all tuckered out, near the people she loves. Maybe that will be you!

SPECIAL NOTE FROM FOSTER:  Sarah is such a sweetie!!  She loves to cuddle in your lap but still wants to play like the puppy she is!  She loves stuffed animals and playing ball.  She is great with other dogs and cats.  She is housetrained, walks good on a leash and knows the command for sit.  She is a little shy with men but then soon warms up to them.  I believe she would best be suited in a home with children over 5 due to her size.  She is a small dog with a big personality!!
