All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.
About B is for Bandit | |

Bandit aka "B" is a victim of his parents being evicted. They tried to find a home for him but were unable. A kind person has "sponsored" him during this interim period. B is up to date on all of his shots. Everyone who meets this man just loves him. He is an older gentleman, ~12 years old. According to the vet, he is in excellent health, great "ticker" and pretty spry. B gets along well with other dogs and cats. In his previous home he lived with 5 cats. He is a real love bug and just wants to be close to his people. He adapts very quickly and would make a great companion to someone who does not need a "jogging" buddy. If you want someone to sit and adore you, Bandit is the perfect man. He is housebroken, has a fantastic temperament, and his only vice is wanting to be loved. Being a little older, his is only wiser.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: He is a lovely guy, He had his first night here and did absolutely fantastic. I put a mat down for him in our bedroom and he laid on it and went to sleep and slept throughout the night. Not a whimper or anything. He didn't even move when I got up in the middle of the night. The only issue with him is that he does make a fair amount of noise
when left alone, but once he knows you are near, he is fine. I think some of it is due to his
somewhat impaired vision. At this time he seems to have minimal problems going up and down stairs.
