All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

So, you like your dogs to be sturdy? Healthy? Friendly? Always sort of liked the look of a Saint Bernard, but worried about that size? Meet Saint Charles! You get it all in a smaller package. About half the size of a Saint, Charlie, as we call him, is simply a great dog. First off, he is already house broken. That's an important one in our book. Next, he likes other dogs, , and is one of those dogs who is very eager to please.  Did we mention he is so handsome? Well muscled shoulders and strong legs, a fawn colored "saddle" across his back, make him truly striking. When you take him for a walk, heads will turn. Barely a year old, he should have a long life to give you and we know he is the kind of dog who will love you with everything he has for all of those years. He will be a loyal companion to an individual or a family.

Charlie has been delayed in his arrival to us due to heartworms. He is currently being treated and should be ready for about around early Oct. Once treated and kept on heartworm preventative, the dog will have a long and happy life. Please read about Heartworm and if you'd like to consider being Charlie's foster for the final stages and then adopt him, please complete an application.
