JoJo needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

|
JoJo has never had a chance to have someone to love him. He has only known neglect, but inside his heart is so much love, all stored up, ready to come out and be given to somone who will pet him gently, and care for him. Let him feel safe and loved, show him what the beautiful world looks like, and you will see the blossom that is JoJo open. It will be a beautiful sight! All he needs is some time, to become your loyal and loving companion. He will be grateful all of his life that you were the one who gave him his chance. In rescue, we find that watching a dog come alive is one of the most rewarding things in life. Wait until you feel it, too. It is the most amazing feeling. You will know each and every day that you have given him life, and yourself a lasting friend. MUST HAVE FENCED YARD.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Jo Jo is a very exceptional dog - bright, very sensitive, and talented. Agility is in his future!!He is good with cats, rabbits, people in general. Here he is becoming a puppy again and learning to play. Somewhere he lost that, but has regained the confidence to have fun without fear. Good on the leash in harness, runs with me. He plays hard with other dogs but is all in fun, no food aggression. Eats side by side with other dogs, shares treats and rawhide. In regards to adoption, Jo JO is in need of someone who can bond with him and spend time to shape his talents. I have been told by vets and experts he is a very special dog, but needs structure and guidance to achieve his full potential - which is truly special. He will make his adopter truly proud if they invest some time in his talent.
