All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A SPECIAL NOT TO YOU FROM JINGO'S FOSTER:

We have come to love this little guy in such a short period of time with us.  He is exceptionally smart, a quick study and desperately wants to be part of a family and be loved.   He has a lot of fear issues that we have been working on and he has made great strides.   You would not believe the difference in this dog in just 2 days in a loving family setting.  He is so handsome with the new red collar that we bought him and his fur is soft. Here are some things we would like to tell a prospective  adopter:

Love him!  Slow to trust but loving when he warms up.  He learns very quickly – you only need to show him a couple of times and he has it. He offers a beautiful quiet sit without asking.  He loves his new collar and walks nicely with his leash.  He loves to sleep in bed with you!  He doesn’t take up a lot of room and is ever so content.  He also very much enjoys hanging out on the sofa with you.  He wants to play with other dogs, loves tennis balls and sterilized bones. Oh, did I say he is housebroken.  He goes to the door downstairs when we are on that floor and to the top of the stairs when we are on the upper floor.   He will cry to go out if you don’t notice and it is urgent.  A very happy Let’s Go will get him to go outside to pee.   He will not willingly use a crate.  It scares him badly to try.  So while we were out for a couple of hours, he had the run of the upstairs.  He relaxed on the sofa while we were gone – nothing was disturbed.  He appears to be curious about things but doesn’t touch anything except toys.  He really loves cheese!  He stood quietly in the bathtub during his bath, has been extremely cooperative in grooming his feet, brushing his fur, cleaning his ears and introducing him to doggie toothpaste.  He has a gentle mouth.  He rides well in a car.  He loves the sunshine on his face and grins with happiness about it.  He loves to give hugs and little kisses.
This is one, loving, very grateful dog! Perhaps you will be the one who will be his foever home and the love of his life. Yours too!
