Calla needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

With her big, beautiful, dark eyes, Calla is going to melt hearts all around her. She has the friendly, collie temperament and loves to play with other dogs, too, so if you are looking for a companion dog for a current canine resident, she would be a good choice. Her tail will wag for all your friends. A happy dog, she will enjoy playing in your yard with you, going for walks, or curling up near you each evening. She has an exceptionally gentle temperament, and is one of the sweetest dogs we have met. She is also housebroken, a real plus in our book. She will be just a great family dog. In the prime of her life, Calla will be your very own special girl.

Calla will arrive to us on Feb 1st and will need to undergo heartworm treatment. This is a 6- 8 week period of quite, crate, leash walking. She will only go as a foster during this time.
