All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Mimi is a year old and a bichon mix. She came to us because her previous owner had too many animals in the home and was having difficulty giving them the time and resources that they deserved. She is very sweet and affectionate. Mimi loves to cuddle in your lap. She has done well with the dogs in her foster home as well as the dogs in homes of pet sitters after a short warming up period. She is also good with cats and currently lives with younger children in her foster home. She is quite athletic for her size and can jump a baby gate and a 4 ft privacy fence.  Mimi should be crated when unattended because she can get into mischief and be a bit destructive when left alone.
