All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hi, my name is Mr. Snubbs. I am a 6 year old Yorkie-Poo. I have had a pretty tough life until Mr. Tucker found me a little over a year ago wandering the streets looking for a new home. He graciously picked me up and took me home to meet his pack. What a pack! After cleaning me up he sat down with me and for some reason turned me around and let all of them smell my butt! I guess he knew what he was doing as all of them, three Shih-Tzu’s and a Golden/Boarder collie mixed said OK he can stay.

For almost a year everything was great, we played together, ate together and got along fine. Something happened, I really don’t know what, but my stepbrother and me started to argue. It got worse over the next few months and I have concluded it is not going to get any better so it is time to move on and find a new home.

I really am a wonderful dog but have to be honest in saying I just don’t like other male dogs so I would prefer a home by myself. I do get along with all the girls here but it would be best if I were by myself. I also need a fenced in area and I do like taking walks and an occasional car rides. I would prefer a house visit from Mr. Tucker to ensure them that I will be treated as well as he and his clan has taken care of me. In return I guarantee once I get to know you I will be your pal for life. I love to cuddle and am truly a lap dog. Please help me find a wonderful home.
