Hartley needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Young , sweet, and shy, Hartley will look to you in strange situations to make sure all is well. He is a sturdy boy and will be perfect for walks, jogs, runs, biking, or just backyard play. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is not at all a dominent dog. A perfect middle sized dog, he is also well built, with healthy shoulder muscles and haunches. And the best part? He is already house trained! He also likes older children. Young children make him nervous. Got a family? Get Hartley! He will love all of you. To make it even better, we have already had him neutered for you and gotten him all his shots. He is ready to go!
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: What a beautiful and soulful boy is Hartley. He is another love bug. Very quiet boy, loves to be around his people. He gets along with other dogs and has four dogs that are his playmates. Hartley is a very gentle fella who just wants to hug you. He loves belly rubs and massages. Hartley would make an absolutely fantastic family dog. He is the right size, not too big and not too small. He has the most adorable expression and his little spotted ears are so soft. He is definitely not a barker. He is not food or toy aggressive, loves everyone and everything and just wants to play. He doesn't care if his playmate is large or small just as long as they can have a good romp. He does have the puppy exuberance but he can be very calm and loving when on your lap.
