Older, but wise now, and knowing through experience how to love, Mable takes the happiness and storms of life with calm. She has always had a friendly, loving nature and that has just perfected with age. She is happy to do anything you want to do. She simply adores people, including children. Other dogs are fine and she even likes cats. She has seen it all and is fine with it. Simply being near her is a wonderful, peaceful experience. She demands nothing and gives back her entire heart. She came to us with her littermate and sister Myrtle when her owner died and the heirs considered her dogs as useless. Since they have spent their whole lives together, we are hoping that we can give them the gift of staying together for the rest of their lifetimes. Both are kind, gentle,  grateful, and love each other so much. We thought you might like to hear what their caretaker had to say about them: "They Are so sweet, They love other dogs and just want to be with people. Love kids, Everyone here is in love with them, such a sweet pair. They love each other also. And, cats seem to be no problem. One of our cats cuddled up on them and they just sat there and wagged their tails" Her gratitude will know no bounds when you pet her gently, go for nice walks, and let her curl up near you. What you will get out of the bargain will be unconditional love.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM THEIR FOSTER:

The foster says she calls them  the old ladies! They love to go on walks and will stay right beside  you. No pulling. They bond with everyone, so a new place will not be upsetting to them. The are happy whereever they go. They like her cats and grandchildren, so no problem there. They really love each other.  We think they maybe mother and daughter.
