All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Sweet and loveable little Benji Boy has found himself all alone in the world. Friendly, and still hopeful, he would love to be your special cuddle bug. Although he can't see with his eyes, he does see with his heart and once he understands where he is, and where the "things" in his environment are, he gets around well. He is grateful and happy to have food in his bowl, a warm , soft place to curl up, and, most of all, a gentle hand to pet him. He likes everyone, other dogs included, and waits patiently every day for somone who will come for him and make him all their own.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER; He is housebroken and crate trained. He is such a sweetheart. Constantly wags his tail. He is not officially blind but almost. He has glaucoma in his left eye and a cataract in his right eye that may be operable to restore his vision. The eye vet said she thinks he can see light and dark and shadows. He is very playful. He does play fetch even though he can't see well. He listens to hear where the toy lands then sniffs it out. He is a perfect family dog. I'm pretty sure he's a cockapoo.
